At the end of the day, my child is my child.
Yes my child may have autism but I don’t always look at my child as my child with autism. I just look at my child as my child.
As a parent, I like to stay in my lane.
I do not want to become child’s therapist.
My role is to be his mother.
Can I incorporate strategies that I’ve learned from books, coaches, teachers, ect., YES.
But my job is to be my child’s MOTHER.
